This is my final wedding of 2016 & what an awesome way to finish one helluva year. Driving through the frost laden woods to be greeted by the sunlit monolith that is Hazelwood Castle, I knew it was going to be all kinds of special. The amazing Kim & Tom celebrated in the morning with just their closest family & friends in an intimate ceremony. Before heading over to the chapel for one of the most awesome church ceremonies I've ever been a part of. Mainly because the vicar was just so damn game for photographs. He even had me stood on a chair on the alter at the end for some whacky selfies of the wedding party. Boom!
A special mention must also go to the phenomenal Firenza Flowers who brought the outdoors in with her badass skills.
Apparently photographers at Hazlewood don't usually lead the bridal party into the woods for portraits as it took a while for the manager to find us. But I sure as hell wasn't gonna use no elaborate staircase when magic awaits right outside those wooden doors. For Kim & Tom this was about spending the day with those that matter most & they did it while looking frickin amazing!
What better way is there to end the year than with two incredible humans amidst the sunlit frozen forest.
Here's to 2017. Here's to you.
